​Machina Kitchen & ArtBar Decks the Halls with Holiday Magic and Generosity!
 
KEENE, NH (December, 2021) --

Machina Kitchen & ArtBar is spreading cheer this year with their very first community-focused holiday pop-up. This limited-time, holiday version of Machina includes over-the-top holiday decorations, events, a food drive, and a special menu that will generate funds for local non-profits for the whole month of December Tuesday through Saturday from 5PM to 10PM.

As folks arrive at Machina located at 9 Court Street in downtown Keene they will enter a transformed space, decked floor to ceiling in an outrageous installation of holiday décor. Guests are invited to take an ‘Elfie’ with Buddy, and if you post your picture and tag/follow Machina Kitchen & ArtBar on Facebook and Instagram, you will be entered to win a twenty-five dollar gift card which will be drawn at the end of each week. “We went over-the-top with holiday cheer this year, and we’re bringing our community together with food, cocktails, and kindness,” co-owner, Danya Landis says. “These past two winters have been such a challenge for everyone, so this year we are promoting light, laughter, and fun.”
 
To celebrate the season, Machina has created a separate menu of special holiday tipples served in festive glassware, and there is something for every taste. “We could all use some cheer this year…” says Bar Manager Justin Young. “I was part of a holiday pop-up in San Francisco, and the community response was overwhelming. I wanted to bring that same level of joy and goodwill to Keene.” Machina’s friendly bar staff will be serving up classic holiday drinks such as rich, house-made eggnog, and warm mulled wine as well as several new concoctions that are sure to become your new holiday favorites. The menu offers a festive spin on the Mai Tai- the pumpkin-infused “Mele Kalikimaka”, as well as “Naughty or Nice”- a warming mezcal martini spiced with cinnamon. Are you a fan of Pisco? Try the “Icy what you did there,” this minty treat with a touch of exotic Pandan flavor is like nothing you’ve ever had before.
 
From the kitchen, you can expect to find flavors that will conjure up the delights of holidays past. Chef Jordan Scott has crafted two hearty dinner options that leave nothing to be desired. The Advent Spiral features turkey with sage, prosciutto, and cranberry. It was inspired by the Waldorf tradition of walking a spiral labyrinth and reflecting on the year passed, and the year to come. The other dish available is the British Holiday, this dish brings all the mouth-watering goodness of a classic prime rib with savory Yorkshire pudding. The British holiday is the same dinner Chef Jordan Scott grew up eating as a kid with his family during their holidays.
 
Machina is extending the goodwill with their own spin on the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ calling it the ‘Twelve Days of Generosity’ during which they will give one dollar from each item sold off their holiday menu towards twelve local non-profits; The Community Kitchen, Hundred Nights Shelter, Arts Alive Monadnock, Feeding Tiny Tummies, The Hannah Grimes Center, MoCo Arts, Monadnock United Way, Monadnock Conservancy, Monadnock Humane Society, Keene Family YMCA, Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention, and the Monadnock Understands Childhood Hunger Coalition.

Machina will be hosting an ugly sweater week starting on December 14th until December 18th. If you wear an ugly sweater during this week you will receive 10% off your bill. During this campaign, they will also be running a food drive for The Community Kitchen in Keene. You can also receive 10% off during this week by bringing in an item to donate. You can non-perishable drop items off at 9 Court Street, Keene during their business hours Tuesday through Saturday, 5PM to 10PM.
