where to get dinner in Keene NH
Rebecca Hamilton and Danya Landis founded Machina Arts in 2013 because we saw a need in our community for art based cultural activities. Our first events featured installation artists, DJs and an eclectic mix of performers and musicians. We drew on volunteer support from our community to create our events and operated on a net breakeven budget. Over the years, Machina transformed from an arts collective into a business that offered art based event management, experiential interior design, and curated interactive galleries.
In the spring of 2018, Chef Jordan Scott joined forces with Machina Arts to co-create our summer farm dinner series and in the following fall to join our team as our third majority partner. Jordan brought with him over a decade of culinary experience and deep connections with our local farm community. With Jordan on board, we were able to expand our organization into the art of food. With an expanded team, Machina Arts quickly evolved first by taking on catering and within a few short months taking on the creation of the Machina Kitchen and ArtBar.
The Machina Arts core ownership team includes Chris Hamilton, our dedicated Installation Artist/DJ/Interior Designer and Walker Landis, our tireless Woods Craftsman/DJ/Set Designer.
We believe that community-based arts is a key driver in the cultural renaissance that this area needs. We are excited to have you join us in our creative efforts! We hope to see you soon at 9 Court Street, in the heart of downtown Keene NH! |
